ABOUT
The Kulia Roots Fest is a
benefit concert for the Center of Hawaiian Language of the University
of Hawai'i. Kulia, meaning to strive, is our goal in creating a lasting
foundation. The Kulia Roots Fest features
acts from around the world, alongside Hawai'i's top artists. Each band has a conscious awareness of
their surroundings, capturing the essence of what defines Roots Music.
An uplifting concert experience will be delivered to our audience, all
the while supporting a main ingredient of our Hawaiian Culture, the
language.
